Your Wedding Day
Weddings photographed by Softlight Studios can consist of all-day coverage using a natural blend of contemporary and traditional styles. Our idea of wedding photography is simply to capture the day as artistically as possible and record the event with style.
Jim has a talent for capturing the right image at just the right time in an unobtrusive way. He will record the event as it happens, forever preserving those rare and wonderful moments of emotion, humor and beauty that can never be staged or posed and can never be repeated.
Jim works with an assistant photographer who helps to make group photographs happen smoothly and quickly. When not directly assisting, the second photographer quietly captures candid moments throughout your wedding day. Posed portraits of the bride and groom, wedding party and parents will be taken before or after the ceremony. We like to shoot these with a classic, but contemporary style. Formals of the extended family can be added to session.
We can travel anywhere in the US for your wedding with appropriate arrangements.
There are no additional travel costs for locations within South Central Maine (Kittery to Bangor).
